PocketMigo is a game about looking after a pixel pet by looking after yourself. It is made by one person, and it is not a medical device.
Using the app means you accept what is on this page.
Not medical advice
This is the part that actually matters.
PocketMigo shows calorie and protein numbers, tracks your weight, and sets daily goals. All of it is for a game. None of it is medical, dietary, or fitness advice, and none of it has been reviewed by a doctor or a dietitian.
Nutrition figures come from public food databases and, for foods those databases do not have, from an AI estimate. Estimates are frequently wrong. Do not use them to manage a medical condition.
Talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian before changing how you eat or how you exercise, particularly if you are pregnant, have an eating disorder or a history of one, are diabetic, or have a heart condition. If the app is making your relationship with food worse, delete it. It is a game about a bear.
Your account
You sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to that Apple ID; we cannot let you into an account you can no longer prove is yours.
One account per person. Do not create accounts for other people, and do not use the app if you are under 13.
Being decent to other players
The app lets you add friends, name your pet, set a display name, send gifts, and run challenges together. Do not use any of that to harass anyone, impersonate anyone, or put anything abusive, hateful or sexual where another player will see it.
Accounts doing that get removed, without warning and without an appeal.
Cheating
Do not fake your activity data, tamper with the app, or automate it to win challenges. Friend challenges only mean something because both people actually did the thing.
Money
Tracking is free, and there is no advertising. A paid tier may be offered later for analysis built on top of what you log; anything you recorded yourself stays readable without paying. Any purchase would be handled by Apple through the App Store, under Apple's refund rules, not ours.
Coins, heartwood and every other currency exist only inside the game, cannot be bought, and are worth nothing outside it. They can disappear if your account is removed or the game changes, and they are not compensable.
What we cannot promise
The app is provided as it is. It may break, lose data, be unavailable, or stop existing. It depends on services from Apple, Supabase and others which can change or disappear without notice.
Please keep your own record of anything you genuinely need — this is a pet game, and it should not be the only place your health history lives.
To the extent the law allows, PocketMigo and its maker are not liable for any loss arising from using the app, including lost data, lost progress, or decisions you made based on what it showed you.
The art
Some pixel art, fonts and sound in PocketMigo are licensed from other artists, who are credited in Settings under Credits. Those licences belong to them. Do not extract the app's assets and reuse them.
Changes and endings
These terms can change; the new version appears here with a new date. You can stop using the app at any time and ask for your account to be deleted — see the Privacy Policy. We can close an account that breaks these rules.
